AIOU postgraduate admissions end on June 5

Decision taken due to the prevailing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis

ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Sunday announced that June 5 is the last day for students to enrol in its post-graduate and bachelors-level programmes for the spring semester 2020.

Applications for admission will be accepted for the MA, MSc, MEd, BEd, BS, BA, BBA, associate degree and postgraduate diplomas.

Details of eligibility criteria along with admission forms are available on the university's website www.aiou.edu.pk.

Fresh and continuing students of AIOU can apply through the varsity’s online admission portal.

Meanwhile, the AIOU has decided to help its new and continuing students by giving them the option of paying their semester fee in two instalments.

The decision was taken by AIOU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Ziaul Qayyum due to the prevailing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

The date for paying the first instalment has been fixed as June 5, while the second instalment will have to be paid by July 17.
