FAISALABAD: Three persons, including a woman, were found dead in different parts of the city on Thursday. The woman’s body was spotted in a canal near a milk plant in Jaranwala.

Police and rescuers fished out the body. The deceased woman is yet to be identified. Rescue 1122 officials said the body was about four days old and had marks of torture. It was shifted to the THQ hospital.

Meanwhile, local people spotted the body of a boy near Karim Town, Batala Colony and informed the police. A police team shifted the body to the mortuary of Allied Hospital and made announcements about it from mosques. However, the body was yet to be identified. Another body of a 45-year-old man was found in Ghulam Muhammad Abad. It was also shifted to the mortuary.
