Police team recovered a police revolving light and caps from the car

ISLAMABAD: The Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of the Islamabad police have arrested two people for allegedly impersonating police officials. Revolving police lights and caps were recovered from them.

During checking within the remits of the of Sabzi Mandi police station

Following directions from Operations-DIG Waqaruddin Syed, Investigations-SP Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted special police teams of the CIA wing to arrest criminal elements.

One police team, under the supervision of DSP Hakim Khan and headed by Inspector Shamsul Akbar along with other officials was conducting snap checking within the remits of the Sabzi Mandi police station when they stopped a car.

The police team recovered a police revolving light and caps from the car and arrested two occupants, identified as Khalil Ahmed - a resident of Ayub Park of Okara District, and Muhammad Arshad - a resident of Nankana Sahib.
