CDA’s building control raises Rs119.77m in April

Approved nine building plans, disposed of 14 cases for NOCs

ISLAMABAD: The Building Control Directorate has collected Rs119.775 million in revenues in April 2020. The money was collected on account of approvals of building plans, issuance of completion certificates, no-objection certificates (NOCs), commercial charges and other heads including fines on account of non-conforming use.

A statement issued by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday said that Section-I of the Building Control Directorate (BCD) had approved nine building plans and nine completion certificates. It had also disposed of 14 cases for NOCs, commercialization charges and others during this time, raising revenues worth Rs1.64 million.

During the past month, Section-II of BCD earned revenues worth Rs48.81 million for issuing of NOCs, completion certificates, approval of building plans, commercialization charges and others.

Similarly, Section-III generated revenues of Rs54.479 million for issuing completion certificates, NOCs, and approvals of building plans.

The CDA administration has directed all formations of the authority to focus on service delivery and for raising revenues. Moreover, it said that service delivery and revenue generation efforts of all formations are regularly monitored by the authority.
