FAISALABAD: Hundreds of Urban Wagon Transport drivers have staged a protest rally outside of the district coordination office (DCO) complex on Monday against the imposition of a toll tax on Sammundri Road. The protesters were chanting slogans against the toll tax imposition and demanded that the government withdraw the tax. Wagon drivers contended that due to the imposition of the toll tax at the rate of Rs50 per trip, they had to raise the fare but commuters refused to pay the new amount.
