PESHAWAR:

Last year’s devastating floods and terrorism inherited by the present government have obstructed the benefits of provincial autonomy obtained by the province under 18th amendment.

This was stated by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Monday, talking to representatives of Lower Dir Press Club. He added the healthy symptoms of the provincial autonomy would have become visible by the province, had it not been hit by the natural catastrophe coupled with militancy.

Declaring provincial autonomy as a silent revolution, he said it was a great achievement of the present elected government which gave the federating rights over its resources through a unanimous constitution.
