Man arrested for fraud

KARACHI: A man was arrested by the Sharae Faisal investigation police for allegedly committing fraud worth millions of rupees on Sunday. According to the police, Mashood alias Jahangir had claimed to be an employee of the Sindh Education and Literacy Department (SELD) and collected large sums of money from citizens in exchange for providing them with fake documentation and degrees for admissions into medical schools. He later fled. Mashood, who is allegedly a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London, was found carrying a fake SELD employee card. Further investigation is underway.
