Kite string claims biker’s life 

The victim was riding a motorcycle with his minor brother

LAHORE: Kite flying claimed another life in the provincial metropolis on Sunday. The victim of the incident was identified as 18-year-old Usman Yousuf, a resident of Narowal, who worked as a factory worker.

The victim was riding a motorcycle with his minor brother Ali Haider on the rear seat. As they reached Band Road in Islampura, Usman fell down all of a sudden and started bleeding after a kite string ran over his neck.

Nearby people called police who reached the spot on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy.

Meanwhile, Lahore DIG Operations Rai Babar Saeed took notice of the incident and suspended Islampura SHO Nasrullah Khan Chatha and ordered field officers to ensure implementation of kite flying act.
