Enough PPE at PIMS

He said a one month protection kits' stock had been provided to the Pims administration for the health professionals

ISLAMABAD: Sufficient stock of personal protection equipment (PPE) kits was available at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for the safety of health professionals from COVID-19, Pims Spokesman Dr Wasim Khawaja said on Wednesday.

He said the government had also assured supply of further stock in case of need to ensure protection of doctors from the coronavirus.

He said a one month protection kits' stock had been provided to the Pims administration for the health professionals. All available resources would be utilised for handling the corona situation.

He said spread of infection could only be controlled by reducing the rate of contact with other people.
