Two die in ‘selfie’ accident

Nadeem and Ayan were swept away, while Nauman managed to reach the ban and was rescued by the locals

HARIPUR: A selfie took lives of a man and his son, while his nephew nearly escaped death on Wednesday.

According to the rescue team Nadeem, a resident of Chaklala, Rawalpindi, was heading home from Abbottabad with other family members on motorcycles when the group stopped new Khanpur River to take pictures.

Nadeem, his son Ayan and nephew Nauman were taking selfies at the river bank when Ayan fell into the raging torrent. Nadeem and Nauman dived in to save him, but the river was in flood after rains.

Nadeem and Ayan were swept away, while Nauman managed to reach the ban and was rescued by the locals.
