Three bodies found in different areas of Karachi

The police discovered the bodies of three people across the metropolis on Monday.

KARACHI: The police discovered the bodies of three people across the metropolis on Monday.

The three-day old body of a transgender person was found from a house in Muhajir Camp in Baldia Town.

The police arrived at the scene and shifted the body of the deceased, identified as 50-year-old Naimat Ali, to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Ali, who had been living in the house alone, appeared to have died due to natural causes, according to initial examination. However, the police are further investigating the incident.

Separately, the body of 72-year-old Raheem Bakhsh was found near the New Sabzi Mandi area. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Though the deceased is said to have died a natural death, further investigations are being carried out.

Meanwhile, the body of a 48-year-old man was found from a house in Shirin Jinnah Colony. The identity of the deceased could not be determined till the filing of the report. The body was shifted to the Edhi morgue.
