The authority has started a door-to-door disinfection drive in the lodges. The disinfection operation is carried out daily by trained staff dressed in proper protection kits.
Furthermore, hand sanitising dispensers have been installed at the entrance to all the blocks of the lodges.
Moreover, the staff has been deputed at the main gate of the lodges to check the temperature of guests with infrared thermo-guns.
Similarly, the mosque of the lodges is disinfected after every prayer and special arrangements have been made for washing and spraying the streets and paths within the lodges.
The hostels are cleaned and swept multiple times a day.
In line with the instructions of the authority, masks have been also distributed amongst its officials from basic pay scale (BPS) grade one through 15, particularly among staff carrying out disinfection and cleanliness activities in the Lodges.
