ATC rejects bail petitions

According to the Rangers prosecutor, all medical facilities were being provided to the accused in the prison.

KARACHI: Separately, an ATC rejected the bail pleas of 14 accused arrested from MQM head office nine-zero in 2015.

The court stated that the case was in its final stages and therefore, the accused could not be granted bails.

Those who applied for bails on medical grounds included former MQM sector in-charge Farhan Shabbir, Nadeem Guddu, Imtiaz and others.

According to the Rangers prosecutor, all medical facilities were being provided to the accused in the prison.

They were arrested on March 11, 2015, for their involvement in major crimes, including killing citizens and law enforcement agencies personnel, while a large number of automatic weapons and ammunition were also found at the party’s head office.
