BAHAWALPUR: The District Development Committee approved 22 development schemes under the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SDGAP) in a meeting held on Monday.
The meeting was presided over by Bahawalpur Deputy Commissioner Shozab Saeed. It was told that the schemes will be completed at a cost of Rs40 million.
They include five schemes of electricity supply to be completed at a cost of Rs3.969 million, 16 schemes of local government and community development to be completed at a cost of Rs31.615 million and construction of a road at a cost of Rs4.39 million.
The DC ordered timely completion of the schemes and asked the officers concerned to monitor the development work and ensure social distancin.
