Governor all praise for medical staff 

He made it clear that the safety of doctors, paramedical and other hospital staff was their top-most priority

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Sunday hailed doctors and paramedical staff for playing a critical role in fighting the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the country.

Addressing media at the Governor Annecy on Sunday, where he distributed protective kits, Sarwar paid rich tribute to doctors and paramedical staff who were looking after Covid-19-infected patients. He said that the nation will never forget the services rendered by them.

He made it clear that the safety of doctors, paramedical and other hospital staff was their top-most priority.

“These people are here to help save the patients of the Covid-19 without caring for their own lives, he said, adding, "We salute them."

He also appreciated the role of Rescue 1122, whose members were also fighting on the frontline. The governor said the government was utilizing all possible resources to tackle coronavirus pandemic and getting reasonable results.
