BUDAPEST: McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, winner last weekend in Germany, was fastest in first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Briton leading the way as Red Bull’s Mark Webber crashed and lost his front wing. Hamilton has won twice at the Hungaroring and showed his love of the circuit by setting the pace on an overcast day with a quickest lap of one minute and 23.350 seconds. Reigning Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel was second fastest in a time of one minute 23.564 and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso was third.
