The purpose behind the Psychosocial Support Training (GBV response to COVID-19) was to educate PSCA Staff and PCOs regarding gender-based violence (GBV), harassment, stress relief, sexual assault, communication skills and anger management in collaboration with UNFPA and Rozan.
During the training, different sessions were conducted on topics including ‘Understanding Covid-19 Impact’, ‘Psychosocial Support for GBV Survivors’, ‘Impact of Covid-19 on Women, Girls’ and Children Lives (GBV Vulnerabilities)’, ‘Safety Planning for GBV Vulnerabilities’, ‘Skills Practice and Mental health’ and Ethical Standards, Documentation, and Self-Care. On this occasion, PSCA Chief Administration Officer Muhammad Kamran Khan said, “Training was conducted by ensuring coronavirus safety measures.”
The purpose of the training was to educate the staff about ‘Controlling Nerve Strain’, he added.
