The delegation also comprised Jan Muhammad Jamali, Provincial Advisor to CM Muhammad Khan Lehri and Parliamentary Secretary Meer Sikandar Umrani. The team discussed wheat purchasing, Pat Feeder Canal and development projects in Naseerabad Division.
The CM comprehensively discussed the spread of coronavirus in Balochistan, adding that the government has commenced distribution of PCR Testing kits in Naseerabad Division while quarantine and isolation wards were being established as well.
“The provincial government has been distributing ration among daily wagers and poor families across Balochistan and more than Rs700 million have been released for ration distribution to 150,000 families in the province,” the chief minister said.
It is pertinent to mention here that a meeting of the Parliamentary group from Naseerabad Division was held at Magsi House earlier this week which was presided by Nawabzada Tariq Magsi. The meeting agreed to strengthen Naseerabad Division’s Parliamentary group in the better interest of people.
Meanwhile, speculation swirled whether MPAs and ministers from the ruling party have reservations with CM Kamal. Prior to this meeting, an MPA and minister of the ruling party representing the Pashtoon belt had written a letter to the chief minister, alleging the government for neglecting their constituencies.
While discussing wheat and agricultural development in the provincial green belt, the CM told the delegation of parliamentarians that the provincial government established wheat purchasing centers in Naseerabad Division while funds would be released for de-silting of the Pat Feeder Canal.
