Netflix’s mega-hit series Money Heist has another fan in Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana – not that it’s short of any more fans!

The Andhadhun actor took to Instagram to share a video of himself singing the anthem Bella Ciao, recently made famous around the globe thanks to Money Heist. Ayushmann is seen sitting on his piano, playing along to the tune of the song.

But that’s not all. Ayushmann also shared a special wish with his followers. “I want to be the professor. That’s why I’m wearing similar glasses and playing Bella Ciao. I want to put this out in the universe,” he wrote.

He then added a request for filmmakers to help him make it happen. “Hello reverent filmmakers, are you listening? Please! I’m dying to do something like this. I’m itching to go on sets and work, like each and every human on this planet,” he shared. However, he also remained mindful of the important of not working at the moment, adding, “But patience is a virtue they say. Till then Bella Ciao. #MoneyHeist.”

The video that has already racked up 540k likes on his account is fast gaining popularity with his industry peers too. Shilpa Shetty lauded him for the effort, commenting, “Binged on #MoneyHeist, now binging on this... Beautiful.”  His co-star in the movie Bala, Bhumi Pednekar, also commented, saying, "You are totally acing his look."

Maybe, if Bollywood ever decided to remake the hit show, Ayushmann can get his wish fulfilled!
