Two child molesters held in Gujjar Khan

Both the suspects were already wanted to the police in another case of child abuse

RAWALPINDI:  

Police on Friday arrested two people who had allegedly assaulted a child in the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan police station.

According to a police spokesman, the victim's elder brother had lodged a complaint that his brother was playing outside his house when the suspects, Nasir Nazeer and Usman Maskeen, took him away forcefully and molested him. They also threatened the victim of dire consequences, if he told anyone about the incident.

Both the suspects were already wanted to the police in another case of child abuse, the police spokesman said and added that the swift action to arrest the culprits was taken on the special directives of City Police Officer (CPO), Muhammad Ahsan Younas.
