FAISALABAD: Police is in search of the accused guilty of torturing his wife to death with his mother, sister and brother as accomplices on Friday.

The accused, Aftab, tortured Shazia over a domestic row at his house in Batala colony.

The brother of the deceased woman, Shahzad, a resident of Samandari road, registered a first information report (FIR) against the culprits.

He told the police that his 31-year-old sister Shazia got married to Aftab, a resident of Mohallah Amin Park Batala Colony who critically injured her in a domestic dispute.

Shahzad revealed that the perpetrators took the victim to a private clinic instead of a hospital. As a result, the woman succumbed to the grave injuries.

Batala Colony Police Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Nazir Ahmed took custody of the corpse from the house of the victim and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
