Judge On Leave: Dost Khosa’s case hearing on Aug 2

Khosa's wife, an actress, was allegedly thrashed and taken away in a car by Khosa’s friends from his residence in GOR.

LAHORE: The hearing of a petition seeking recovery of Sapna Khan, wife of former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa, was adjourned till August 2 as the judge hearing the case was on leave. At a previous hearing, Advocate Zubair Khalid had appeared on behalf of Khosa and sought time for submission of a reply. Earlier, the court had issued a notice to Khosa on an application seeking restoration of a case for recovery of his wife and their daughter who have been ‘missing’ for a few weeks. Judicial Activism Panel had filed the petition stating that Khan, an actress, was allegedly thrashed and taken away in a car by Khosa’s friends from his residence in GOR on June 22.
