Man kills brother over land dispute

His sister-in-law, nephew seriously injured

FAISALABAD: A man killed his brother over land dispute while his sister-in-law and nephew were seriously injured.

Reportedly, the accused Abdullah, along with his accomplices, attacked his brother Riaz Yaqoob in Chak No 278G, a village of in the jurisdiction of Rodala Police Station over a land dispute, when they were cutting fodder in the fields.

As a result, the accused’s brother Riaz, sister-in-law Nazira Bibi and nephew Tayyab were critically injured in the attack.

They were shifted to Rural Health Centre Satiana where Riaz succumbed to his injuries. Nazira Bibi and Tayyab sustained severe injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital after the medical assistance received by Rescue 1122. Police reached the spot and took the body into their custody and shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem.
