Alternative Energy: Expo opens today

More than 60 exhibitors from Pakistan and abroad are participating in the event

ISLAMABAD: An international expo of alternative energy and energy efficiency opens today (Thursday) with the intention to create awareness and promote usage of clean energy for the development of the community, officials said. More than 60 exhibitors from Pakistan and abroad are participating in the event at the Convention Centre where they will display products relating to energy sector. The Renewable and Alternative Energy Association of Pakistan (REAP) is organising the event in collaboration with the National Energy Conservation Centre and other stakeholders, in light of the current energy needs of the country, officials said.
