Child among two killed in separate incidents

QUETTA: At least two people, including a child, died in two separate incidents in Quetta and Dalbandin on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the victim child was crossing Brewery Road in Quetta when a speeding tanker hit him.

The boy died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, one Mehrullah was killed when unknown men, armed with daggers attacked at him in Dalbandin area of the Chagai district.

Police arrested one of the alleged attackers who is being interrogated in custody following which investigations will continue to determine the motive.

It is pertinent to mention that the dagger used in the attack was also recovered from his possession.
