Four labourers electrocuted, two die

The Attock Khurd police registered a case and started investigations.

ATTOCK: At least two labourers were killed and two others were injured when they were electrocuted while working on a tube-well in the Romiya village of Attock on Sunday.

Rescue 1122 and hospital sources said that the four labourers were working to construct the tube-well on the outskirts of Attock when a pipe, used for boring wells, came into contact with a power transmission line.

Two labourers, identified as Gull Zada and Sher Malik, were electrocuted and died on the spot, while two others, identified as Hadyat Ullah and Ali Mohammad, were injured.

Rescue and emergency teams rushed to the spot and began shifting the victims to a nearby hospital. The Attock Khurd police registered a case and started investigations.
