The police raided a fertiliser godown and found 400 tons of expired urea. They arrested Akbar Ali, Abdul Ghafar, Khalil Ahmed and two others. The police seized two trailers leaving for Karachi as well. They added that godown owner Ghamsham Das and his men hoarded urea, which led to a scarcity in the area. Das managed to escape.
