BISE authorities remove invigilation staff with immediate effect

ATTOCK: The authorities of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Saturday has removed the invigilation staff appointed to conduct secondary school certificate (SSC) annual examination deputed at examination centre Govt High School Makhad Sharif, Tehsil Jand in district Attock.

BISE sources said that deputy district officer education Jand, Fateh Khan on public complaints paid surprise visit at Govt High School Makhad on Saturday where Islamiat paper was being solved by candidates. He caught red handed many candidates using unfair means.

Taking prompt action he submitted the report to the BISE authorities who removed the invigilation staff with immediate effect.

According to sources, the candidates alleged that they were using unfair means with the connivance of invigilation staff after greasing their palms.

Those removed include centre superintendent Aqeel Ahmed, his deputy Mehboob Ellahi and another official.

When contacted, BISE Controller Examination Mohsin Abbass confirmed that board has received compliant from the staff deployed at examination centre of Makhad Sharif regarding malpractices by the candidates and subsequently three examination invigilation in-charges have been shown door.

He said that it was the duty of the boards of intermediate and secondary education to stop use of unfair means in examinations for the encouragement of industrious and brilliant students.
