Many Android developers have confirmed that their apps have disappeared for the Google Play Store

Android apps are disappearing from the Google Play Store and developers at the search engine giant are still at a loss as to what just happened.

The Android store is the main source of downloading apps for many around the world, many developers rely on the Play Store to ensure that their app is being reached to a wide audience.

However, a technical glitch like this could result in major financial loss, as was the case for Dylan Roussel,  who was left in a vulnerable position after his Inware app went missing from the Play Store.

Many Android developers have confirmed that their apps have disappeared. Google acknowledged the glitch but did not explain the main reason behind the issue.

However, the company has confirmed that the apps should be running a smooth operation but even before they fixed the issue, Smart launchers’ Android developers whose app also had disappeared found a solution.

The solution involves making minor tweaks to the Play Store listing, including simply adding extra space to the app’s description.

This change causes the Play Store to refresh its information about the app, which triggers the app to become available to the public again.
