Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian terrorist who killed more than 90 people in two attacks in Oslo, was mortally terrified of the idea of several ‘mini Pakistans’ appearing all over the map of Europe.
In a 1,600-page manifesto titled ‘2083: A European Declaration of Independence’, Breivik laid out a stark picture of the future of Europe, citing poor human rights in Pakistan as the fate of the continent. Norwegian authorities confirmed on Sunday that the manifesto was written by Breivik.
In his doomsday scenario for Europe, Breivik predicts that several ‘mini-Pakistans’ would be created all over Europe by 2083, one in each country due to ‘Lebanon-style’ conflicts. “It could be similar to the division of India after World War II, with the creation of one or several Islamic ‘Pakistan’ enclaves,” he says.
While Breivik’s rhetoric against Muslim immigration into Europe is not unusual, he cites many names that might be familiar to Pakistanis, including Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Maulana Abul Ala Maududi, as well as prominent human rights activist Hina Jilani and Dawn columnist Irfan Hussain.
He seems to believe that Iqbal, in particular, was sympathetic to communism and views multiculturalism as a Marxist concept. He quotes Iqbal as saying “Islam equals communism plus Allah.”
Breivik also claims that Pakistan is systematically annihilating all non-Muslim communities. He claimed that Hindu girls are being forced to convert to Islam in Sindh. In this context he even quotes Hina Jilani as saying: “Have you ever heard of an Indian Muslim girl being forced to embrace Hinduism? It’s Muslims winning by intimidation.”
He goes on to describe the situation for Christians in Pakistan as being no better, citing Father Emmanuel Asi of the Theological Institute for Laity in Lahore as saying in 2007 that Pakistani Christians are frequently denied equal rights.
Jamaat-e-Islami founder Abul Ala Maududi is also quoted in the manifesto, though in a manner that would imply that the stated objective of an Islamic state is to kill or subdue all non-Muslims around the world.
Breivik seems to be a fan of Daily Times columnist Razi Azmi, whom he calls “one of the more sensible columnists of Pakistan”. He mentions one of Azmi’s pieces where the columnist asks whether it was possible to imagine a Muslim converting to Christianity or Hinduism or Buddhism in a Muslim country, using it to support his view of Islam as an intolerant religion.
He also cites Dawn’s Irfan Hussain’s column criticising Hizb u-Tahrir’s vision of a caliphate.
His ire against Pakistanis and Muslims seems to have at least partial origin in personal experience. He speaks at length about his childhood best friend, a Pakistani Muslim immigrant to Norway who, despite having lived several years in Europe still appeared to resent Norway and Norwegian society. “Not because he was jealous… but because it represented the exact opposite of Islamic ways,” Breivik conjectures.
The inability of Muslim immigrants to assimilate into European society seems to bother him, which he blames on Muslim parents not allowing their children to adopt European ways. He also asks why Muslim girls are considered ‘off-limits’ to everyone, including Muslim boys, and why Muslim men view ethnic Norwegian women as ‘whores’.
He also seems to believe that the Muslims in Europe who collect government benefits view it as a form of jizya, a medieval Islamic tax charged on non-Muslim minorities.
He rails against multiculturalism, which he blames for making immigration too easy for Muslims in Europe. “When the veil of multiculturalism disappears, it will be Pakistanis who live in London, Turks who live in Berlin, Algerians who live in Paris and Moroccans who live in Amsterdam. And then the show begins,” he says.
That show, he says, is a dramatic demographic shift that he calls the ‘Pakistanisation of Europe’.

Isn't killing their own and blaming Muslim's an overplayed game or is it that now everyone is having a go at it? Are Muslims the new Nazi of this era?
We surely have become hated throughout. Another hint towards the final world war people read some Quran and Hadith and educate yourselves, Bunch of confused identity cases. Stop trying to hide behind PAKISTAN and harness your true identity and that's being a Muslim PERIOD! The whole world considers you MUSLIM NOT PAKISTANI !!!
Is it a record? 227 posts so far.Thoroughly enjoying both the informed debate and the jingoistic rants.
As a Christian fundamentalist , his thinking and observation is right, he don't want any more Pakistan in the world. where the land claims it as Islamic State , and then every wrong become un lawful from killings, corruption, bertayel , the way the politicians fight at Parliament, eevery one ont want to convert their land that way, but the reality is there is nothing Islamic in Pakistan except the name...
This guy's action based on irrational fear and hallucination was unwarranted for. There is no justification whatsoever to kill innocents replicating the dastardly act of Islamic terrorists he so despises.
But there is a global agreement among non-muslims with the views that he is propagating.
The extensive media coverage to Taliban, Al-Qaeda and innumerable fringe groups of terrorism have made terrorism, fantaism, barbarism synonymous with Islam.
There is an urgent and immediate need to remove this perception to embark on a concerted widespread media effort on conveying there is an humane and all-inclusive facet to Islamism which has roots in loving fellow human beings.
Pakistan is in an unique position to showcase itself as a nation of modern tolerant and progressive muslims not the hardline medieval Islam being represented by the terrorist groups. I am sure Pakistan (despite animosity in India-thank the one-sided version of history in history books of both countries) will emerge to be a goodwill ambassador of Islam globally in the year to come and not a harbinger of "Pakistanization of Europe"
just a small question? how did the Norwegian Terrorist learn to make a remote controlled bomb all by himself? was the information available on the dark web? or somebody taught him?
Oh blast it! i mean another Pakistan connection? You know what, i believe that what he thinks should really really come to fruition after all. Its a mad bad world out there isn't it? National interest is the main priority isnt it ? Ok, so if terrorism is used for creating 'mini pakistans' across Europe then I Jamal will proudly support it. The westerners are just asking for it. i live in Karachi and have never heard of a single christian being intimidated or converted, same goes for the hindus and other communities. Infact quite the opposite happens, we are such tolerant towards other communities that instead of intimidating them we intimidate and fight amongst ourselves , haha, sunni killing shia and shia killing sunni.
I wish Breivik escapes jail and goes on another rampage. it will serve Europe right to experience what we Pakistanis have done for all these years, and for whom?...The WHITE Man's global interest.
Clash of Civilizations happening? I am pretty Sure!
@ahsan: "Why shouldn’t we call him a Christian Extremist?"
Simple! He did not shout "Jesus be praised" when killing those people, neither did he believe his God ordered him to kill them.
@Frank @ Hammad @ Iftikhar-ul-Hassan and @ Leon
It was interesting to read your comments about the Pakistani Liberals where you are accusing them of defaming Pakistan and Islam. The liberals are writing about the bad things happening in Pakistan or writing about the violence being done by militant Talibans and they are writing to raise awareness about these issues. Their writing about these issues does not mean they are defaming Pakistan or Islam. I wish that you guys can understand that remaining in denial or Ostrich mode does not solve the problems.
I wish you can understand and also help by raising awareness about these issues instead of behaving as apologists for the militants and violent groups like LeT, Sipah-e-saheba etc. Its actually these militants who are giving a bad name to Pakistan and Islam. And on top you add the inaction of a majority of our people who in their hearts support these militants because they consider them a lesser evil fighting a bigger evil USA.
I wish you can understand this and stop falsely accusing the Liberals who are actually trying to raise awareness by talking about the hatred and intolerance prevailing in our society and talking about these militants for whom our people have soft corners.
Dear All,
Anders Behring Breivik is a "Terrorist"
Lets clearly announce a Terrorist Act as a manifestation of Terrorism regardless of Religion, Country or affiliation.
No justification could be provided for the killing that has been carried out.
@antony: what connection did you found? i found none?
he simply mention what is the concept of nearly every fundamentalist european on pakistan or afghnistan and other muslim states..
http://www.thenation.com/article/162270/europes-homegrown-terrorists?rel=emailNation Europe's Homegrown Terrorists
Has this guy not been declared 'insane' by his own lawyer? Why shud I waste my breath over his pessimism..!!
I have a feeling that in a few days a report will be published that his childhood Pakistani friend provoked him to do so ... ! Huh
if by pakistanisation he means hours of load shedding, i would be afraid too
@ Riaz
you remind me of GW Bush, who could never see the reality written on the wall. Just writing useless comments linking hunduism and terror shows your shallowness in character. Hinduism is a peaceful religion. There never was instances of Hindus organise killings based on religious grounds, unlike Christian and Islamic histories shows. I am sure, we will not do it future too. Hinduism does not even encourage conversions. We like to be left alone in peace.
I dont think killing so many innocent people can condone his fear of multiculturism.
@ashok sai: Ashok; it is unfortunate that you see it through your short sighted glasses!
@amer nadeem advocate: Why? Is it a phenomenon? Do you see atttitudes among people supporting such behavior? The problem is with Pakistanis settling in countries of whose culture and people they have no respect of.
@anand singh: Purpose was to caution everyone by making an impact. Politicians get elected by people and it's time people changed their thinking and forced policies.
@Riaz Haq:
While there may be some parallels, it is erroneous to draw complete equivalence between Western anti-minority right-wing movement and Hindu nationalism. I am not an adherent of any right or left wings, western or Indian, but I would point out that Hindu nationalists want to emphasize ancient Indic culture as the identity of India as opposed to Arab, Persian or Afghan cultures. Here, the term cultural identity does not reject practice of any particular religion.
Lately, more and more of, even, Pakistani intellectuals are coming around to the view that Pakistan's national identity and culture should be taken back to its Indian/Indic roots and salvaged from sixty years of Arabization of Pakistani society. It seems to me that that is exactly the same as the main axiom of Hindu right-wing ideology. As long as the minorities have rights to practice their religion, separating religion from cultural roots is not a wrong notion. After all, Indian or Pakistani culture did not start in 700 AD with the invasion of Bin Qasim. It is sad that Pakistanis and many South Asian Muslims have been brainwashed to reject their 5000 year old history and adapt the backward desert culture of the invaders.
@Riaz Haq: :: You sir, are intellectually dishonest. I suggest you stop looking at the world from the point of Muslim victim-hood; instead you should contemplate on instances where Muslims have been perpetrators of grievous crimes.
The articles on your blog reflect the thought patterns of a people who have been out-witted and out-maneuvered by others (Hindus, Jews, take your pick) consistently.
@Arindom:
It's ironic but true that Hindu Nationalists draw inspiration from both Nazis and Israel in their anti-Muslim rhetoric and actions.
The Hindu Nationalist attitudes reflect a combination of deep animosity toward minorities as demonstrated by Hitler, and a desire to emulate Israelis in dealing with Muslims in and around India. No matter how one looks at it, these growing trends in India constitute a grave threat to peace in South Asia and the Middle East regions.

"Tolerance was fine when Europe was mostly white and Christian. But then Europe brought in guest workers and accepted former colonial subjects and provided safe havens for refugees. And the right wing suddenly didn't like how different Europe began to look and how uppity the newcomers were getting. They blamed the immigrants, to be sure, but also the gatekeepers who let them in." http://www.ips-dc.org/articles/norwaytheenemy_within Norway: The Enemy Within
@Dinesh Chetti:
You are personally guilty of what you are accusing Pakistanis of: Diverting attention from the fact that Breivik drew inspiration of the Hindu Nationalists' rhetoric in India.
"It is essential that the European and Indian resistance movements learn from each other and cooperate as much as possible. Our goals are more or less identical," Breivick wrote in his manifesto. The Christian Science Monitor has reported that "in the case of India, there is significant overlap between Breivik’s rhetoric and strains of Hindu nationalism – or Hindutva – on the question of coexistence with Muslims. Human rights monitors have long decried such rhetoric in India for creating a milieu for communal violence, and the Norway incidents are prompting calls here to confront the issue."
Hindu nationalists in India have a long history of admiration for Adolf Hitler, and his "Final Solution". In his book "We" (1939), Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, the leader of the Hindu Nationalist RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) wrote, "To keep up the purity of the Race and its culture, Germany shocked the world by her purging the country of the Semitic races -- the Jews. Race pride at its highest has been manifested here. Germany has also shown how well-nigh impossible it is for races and cultures, having differences going to the root, to be assimilated into one united whole, a good lesson for us in Hindusthan to learn and profit by." (We, p.35/p.43)
http://www.riazhaq.com/2011/07/norway-nazi-breiviks-hindutva-rhetoric.html
When the news came out that a native Norwegian was the killer, I thought, ha, this is the first time that Pakistanis or Muslims were not involved in a global terror act. Now, after reading about his manifesto here on this article, it seems that what has been happening in Pakistan is indirectly "involved" in this dastardly act since this deranged man's thoughts seems to have been driven by global Islamist terror and in particular Pakistan's radicalism.
We have been witnessing global Islamist terror for the past three decades. The only surprise is that there hasn't been more anti-Islamist right-wing radical reaction until now. It was bound to happen. We will see more and more anti-Muslim reaction in Western countries until the Muslim countries stop supporting Islamist radicals and preaching bigotry against non-Muslims and get control of the radical Islamists among their midst.
@Ahmad: Indians r more than Pakistani like you
Pakistani are suffering the American war.America only want to capture world minrals resources. and every blame fall on Pakistan. We r Muslims, not terrorist.we r peaceful people. We proud to be PAKISTANI.
@J Khan: Agree with you brother, but I know our fellow men back in Pakistan would not agree.
Interestingly, the contentment and the smile caught by the camera on the terrorist's face while sitting in the police van dangerously and closely resembled the smile and contentment on the face of the Pakistani terrorist Qadri who killed Salman Taseer.
@Riaz, 2000 muslims burnt ? where did you get that infor ? Zahid hamid ? ..Get us a proof..There were massive riots and many muslims were killed I agree. Atrocious I agree and every sane indian (christian or hindu) will agree and feel its wrong..But on the other hand unneccessary provocation of burning a train full of hindu priests unleashed the hindu mobs in gujarat ..Riots always are like pressure cooker letting off steam .Generally its perceived that one strong warning is required to Muslim miscreants so that they dare not do such train burning incidents and that backlash is atrocious but necessary as per general right wing indians ( it includes christians as well) . But Muslims miscreants started attacking the general public through bombs in trains ,stations, bazaars ..As a christian I would feel If you respect Hindu tradition and their beliefs they are the most tolerant society you can find. Some Christian sects do abuse Hindus openly by calling them evil as Idol worshippers not really understanding the deeper meaning and spiritualism behind it. I challenge them whenever I can .Dont immediately compare with US or UK where they fought ,killed and became civilised after many centuries and now very tolerant and are first world democracies. India is fast moving and basically has strong fundamentals of tolerance and secularism in built as a nation. Militaries dont tie up with Religious forces and give AK47s etc .Oh dont quote purohit Colonel .He is in jail and banished from civil life.. My cousin brothers are Sukhoi MK30 fighters and know army is full of people of all religions(Sikhs,Hindus,Christians etc) who are patriotic to India .Why I am writing all these is just so that your opinion does not fuel another suicide bomber our way .
@Nasir Mohammad: "I had attended a Friday khutba at a mosque in Oslo and had been shocked by the level of political vitriol which the Urdu-speaking cleric at the mosque was hurling at the West. Several threats had been made against Norway by Muslim fanatics"-Saleem H Ali (http://tribune.com.pk/story/217047/sad-smugness-after-oslo/) That explains all.
yes it is true.. As a pakistani, i feel ashamed. In Canada and In Norway, may pakistani couples give birth to more kids (5 or more) just to get the Child Tax Benefit. this way, they are wasting other peoples tax money. And moreover they will send 3 of their five kids to Pakistan to learn Islam. So they are claiming 5 kids benefits but only 2 or 1 live here.
this is our culture.
Well this somehow a truth. If you see influx of Pakistanis in UK, Spain Italy, Greece and France, its a larger number and I'm sorry to say Pakistani's will remain Pakistani's, they don't care about cleanliness, try to break every single law & are supreme racist.
I'm sorry if this offends you but this is true and admit it (this I guess implies to 70% of Pakistani's).
@hassan: It will be the most well read and well quoted. All Islamic terrorism will be seen in the light of his writing.
Hi,
Pakistan no need to create a bomb and drop it on some country (especially hindus in india..they dont think muslim are there in india except Sharurukh khan and Kahan Kandana of bollywood)...its manufacturing units of terrorism and its inspiration is enough to destroy the world...lets hope it change it mindsets and close it jihadi facories or madarass.it needs to neutralize their education curriculum if not secularize them.to manufacture at least human beings.
@sumeet: look at who is talking about integration .. ever went to any little idia or south hall in london ? If this is called integration whole world is integrated then :-)
@Riaz Haq:
Sometimes Pakistanis call Indians lovers of Jews. Other times admirer of Hitler! LOL ! Please have some consistency at least in your conspiracy theories
this news story isn't mentioned anywhere in the international media. All the indians were quiet since the attacks and once a story mentioning the name of Pakistan is surfaced, they immediately swarmed the story with the comments full of hatred for pakistan. It seems they don't have a life of their own and are completely obsessed with the pakistan
@Haris...it's called world wide web. It's accessible by everyone, unless it's regulated. Tribune is not.
As long as someone is on the net, I have all the right to be check him out. Even if you are on the net, tomorrow, I can do whatever I want with virtual you.
Also, I have been repeating this to hundreds of Pakistanis. I will stop visiting pakistani news papers, the day, Pakistan stops sending terrorists to kill innocent Indians.
To answer your second question, NO, we don't have a decent INDIA based, PAKISTANI publication.
@Y Khan, who says "Indians should look at their treatment of muslim minorities before they rant their typical hateful anti islam and anti Pakistani rants here. We have not forgotten Gujrat where 2000 innocent muslims were burned ALIVE!"
Wow! Did you even know that the entire Gujarath massacre happened as a result of Muslims burning down a train containing Kar Sevaks, killing about 60 of them?
Of course you wouldn't know. Throughout history, Muslims have persecuted Hindus and even christians in India (case in point : Tipu Sultan, who killed about 90,000 Christians from kerala). Most violence against Muslims are instigated by Muslims.
Now, imagine a group of Hindus burning a train containing mainly Muslim pilgrims, let's say, in Karachi. I can tell you the result now, the population of Hindus in Pakistan would be reduced to 0. Absolutely ZERO.
Stop putting sick minded people's theories on Pakistan. Now that he's not pakistani still pakistan is dragged in this sick act of this pathetic insane human
@narayana murthy: If Tribune is not an Indian newspaper then what Indians are doing here? don't they have decent publications in their own country?
don't expect anything from other Muslim-states like Kuwait, Iran, UAE or Saudia Arabia. Our country and our values are endangered not because of Americans, Britishers or Indians but it is our so-called Muslims brothers who are most vicious to us. I realized this when I came to Germany.
AH!....new low for us Pakistanis. How we hit the bottom yet?
@Riaz Haq: I have been reading your postings dude. You are saying nothing from fact but just from pure hatred. It is the attitude of people like you that our innocent people are despised all over the world. If some on reads your posting they start believing that whole of Pakistan is of the utter extremist and rubbish view as yours. The article is about the Norweigien guy and you spared no chance to blame Hindus. Its sick. People die anywhere in world and you would somehow find reason to blame hindu. Now this proves how much backward we are that we have no shame in publishing utter lies and severe chronic paranoia just to prove our point. I feel disgusted to have a fellow countrymen like you.
@Riaz Haq: " ... It is essential that the European and Indian resistance movements learn from each other and cooperate as much as possible. ... "
I think a lot of people are beginning to realize that there was a cultural genocide perpetrated on the Hindu civilization by Muslims.
Anders Behring Breivik is a lunatic and attempted to malign the image of Pakistan and its people. The culprit not only humiliates his own nation but infact the whole mankind. It is high time for European countries to set an example before the whole world by giving him examplory punishment and abridge the gap between Musilms and western community. Moreover, they should declare his barbarian act an act of terrorism that depicts their neutrality towards extremism.
ha ha, What a joke..... have you read this 1500 page document? don't Drag Pakistan in everything....
multiculturalism is the beauty of Europe. it shone through their liberal artifacts and open society. Beveriek thesis are highly questionable since European Muslims proved to be equally great citizens.
= wireless Terrorisim Server Router = Pakistan<192.168.1.1> Host = Anders Behring Breivik
Why shouldn't we call him a Christian Extremist?
@Riaz haq
I think a question you need to ask yourself is, why is that only Muslims have a problem in India, while all other minorities do so well. In fact Christians, Zorostrians have done better than Hindus, socially, culturally and economically.
Why is that any country with a sizable population of Muslims, pose a problem to the integrity of the country? The list is - Pakistan (you pose a threat to your own integrity), India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, UK, USA, China, Thailand, Phillippines, Cyprus, Germany, France, Sudan (thank god for the division)
This was another government trained and funded false flag event, used as an excuse to demonize people, and liberty! Now that the establishment's evil Muslim terrorist campaign has run it's course, it's time for plan b...the new white/christian terrorist campaign, so that now anyone can be a terrorist, so now we have to give up ALL our liberties in the name of a fake threat! This is classical Illuminati problem-reaction-solution tactics!
what the hell this guys is talking about, He is killing his own people because of the fear of Pakistanisation of the Europe................... Watch this, western media will make him Hero Instead of calling him Terrorist/mass murderer, just because he talked against muslims or Pakistanis..........Just a question, was he raised by both Norwegian Parents or his father was a Pakistani or Muslims who forced his Norwegian mother to become muslim
@Sajid I Barcha: Genuine Fears?? No statistical nor any other notion can prove this maniac's concerns as genuine or having something to deal with the reality ! What you need to realize is that he is a mentally disturbed Extremist what he just needed was anything to bank his inhumane actions on no matter how insignificant or irrational. Pakistanis are a tortured people, with no significant power nor presence in the west (apart from the western media there we are popular indeed). The true problem with him is not Pakistani immigrants attitudes but his childhood traumas a broken home and lack of stable human relationships and affection.
Indians should look at their treatment of muslim minorities before they rant their typical hateful anti islam and anti Pakistani rants here. We have not forgotten Gujrat where 2000 innocent muslims were burned ALIVE!
This criminal murderer in Norway seems to have been learning from the BJP and the RSS.
It pains to see pakistan's name dragged soo far place as norway... is my country so bad that practically every person in world seems to curse it? please dont curse my country. please. -Ajmal
@kiran: yeah, crime should go unpunished. "An eye for an eye" is wrong. Totally wrong....Liberal extremism at its best.
To,Goggi,Sajid barcha,I commend you for your free thinking, just one more additional information regarding the gypsies, they are supposed have come from Rajasthan,Sind and Punjab region, there is no consesus by researces as they have in Eastern Europe for now atleast 500 to 6oo years. ,I thought you may be interested.Never mind, your first obsevation was very profound but the next one you showed your bias. You seem to be person who can advance in true "enlightenment'You read and observe, writen words only window into the world of people,in absence personnel observation,Mr Sajid Barcha you are also on something.I study and read as many different point of view as possible and our thinking goes changes from time to time.I'm not same thinkers I was 45 years ago, change is ever changing, the universe in the state of flux.I do not know when "Islam acquired authoritarianism 'I guess the Prophet was such a personility, there are different opinion on this(islamic scholar and secular scholar have differing opinion,I shall not say where I find myself as I'm still not sure, but you used the word'authoritarian,it sounded to me you are on to something,if you notice, the majid and mullahas often sound authoritarian in most pronouncement, and the 'Faithful" follow.,which is no no in liberal Europe, this the difficulty with Muslim people who live in the west and one of the reason for"ghotto' condition,in USa too most muslims live in Brooklyn,(certain bouroghs),Paterson Nj,and Dearborn MI,they feel at home among their lot,You will notice most Indians do not want to with fellow Indians,I myself avoid if I can.The reason USa, it is because we are upper middle class professionals, may be.I'm pretty alarmed ,that it is going to get worse for Asians ,particularly for followers of Islam, what is not good, they make it worse by caps, beards and hijab etc,it has negative conotation, especially in USa.Now this document exist and for good or bad will be explored,as it is mind boggling how can you squere Islamicphobia with killing native Nowergians, does not add up,so the law enforcement will look this very carefully, just thank god he was not some muslim Pakistani nut,it would have done immense damage to many already suffering hard working pakistani.Small mercy, indeed. This time some one really watching over you.!
Hamood says "Pakistan did not kill these 92 people, Pakistan was not responsible for 9/11, Pakistan was not responsible for this act but a right-wing Norwegian christian was. all Indians should stop dragging Pakistan into this."
@Hamood...Oslo is not in India. Breivik is not Indian. Norway is not India. Express Tribune is not Indian news paper. All Pakistanis should stop using the word India.
To me this guy is really crazy...
The plot against Pak keeps getting thicker. 'several mini Pakistans' and ‘Pakistanisation of Europe’ Stop ridiculing Pakistanis!
Read the statistics at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ImmigrationtoNorway Pakistani population is a meager 0.65% from the total 5 million people in Norway.
It is sad that Pakistan is dubbed in any case. Extremists & fundamentalists have no religion or nationality. Why not call it "extremism in European Christians"........?
"The Pakistani liberals will have this massacre on their consciences forever."
No they won't. And why should they? Pakistani liberals are only responsible for pointing out the mistreatment of minorities in their own country.
If anything, it's the right-wing terrorist appeasers in Pakistan who are like this guy. Both hate minorities and only want rights for themselves.
First, the govt. of norway need to know the facts behind this sorrowful incident, then not only norway but also all the world should play their roll to prevent such incident. The outcome result of this incident will help us to find how the terrorist born bruttlism in their brain and we need to know what are the things who causes of born such material in their minds. I will say one think now it is time for europe and all other world to think about terrorisum seriouly. Un-doubtedly it is america who exploite exteminision and support terrorism to gain his goals in different countires. now it is time to stop using terrorism as a trade, it is a sencitive matter and we all must think about it seriously and has to stop this for the peace of world
lolz.............this is the most funniest news clip i have ever read............ OMG.....i just can't stop laughing, and people would actually believe this statement of pathetic pshyco..........this is totally insane...... People in the world think that Pakistan is a place where men have kalshanokov (sorry for spells), and women in shettlecoks. Jump into this deep swimming pool and enjoy ur swim in this varsitile world of Pakistan instead of stting outside and being affraid.
We are yearning for Pakistanization in Pakistan....Mr. Brevik
When will human beings be just human beings? How hard is that?
92 people have become martyrs for the cause of anti-Pakistanisation of Europe.
Breivik methods are wrong and I don't subscribe to his action, but every word of his 1500-page document is true. In the coming days, you will find more and more people, subscribing to his school of thought.
If the man gets a public trial, his ideas will get wide publicity, the whole world will be made aware of the dangers of the looming 'Pakistanisation'.
Another example of hate mongering! According to FBI data: 94 % acts of terrorism on US soil during last decade are NOT by muslims BUT from hate groups... Listen closely at time 4:45 in the following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ld2KCFAsmk
Brevik's logic is similar to Indian rants against Pakistan and Islam.
@Basit Siddiqui says "“His points are valid”. For people like you anything which is against Pakistan is true. Go to your call centre."
Well, which part of his point did you not agree with? Is it not true that Hindus have been subjected to extremism and isn't that the reason why Hindus diminished from 20% to less than 2% in 60 years? On the other hand, in India, as per the latest census, the percentage of the growth of Muslims is more than that any other religion in India (including the Hindu majority).
Oh and I will go to my call center. It's a nice job, where I have A/C and almost 24 hour electricity (ahem..ahem!) and I don't get blown to pieces on my way or I won't be target killed.
Oh good grief! First of all I'm appalled at how he is not being labeled a terrorist. If he was a Muslim/Pakistani, that's ALL they would have been chanting. He claims the Christians in Pakistan have problems, but then goes out and kills Norwegians? That makes about as much sense as the Taliban railing against America, then blowing up a marketplace in Karachi. These religious fanatics are ALL the same. With their agendas of hate, bigotry and intolerance. I recommend we round them up, ship them to some island, give them all the guns they seem to love, and let them party with each other... Also throw in their favorite politicians and make it more festive. Then we can get on with our lives in peace.
The same fear in Europe is awakening as of with jews before WWII. But are really Pakistanis a security threat for Europe? .....NO, why?
1) An overwhelming majority of Pakistanis working in Europe are of working class who have generally no ambitions of power, are doing mostly blue collar jobs. The most they do is they buy good cars and good houses if they can for showoff and flattery. The second and third generation tried to make some criminal gangs for example Oslo, which were busted effectively.
2) Unlike jews of that time, or Indians at present in Europe, who can really effect opinion making because of their significant positions as intellectuals and professors, the Pakistanis seem to be happy with their earning and maintaining a good life quality.
3) Special food habits does'nt mean lack of integration, which is probably cause of concern for many.
4) There may be high rate of population in the earlier Pakistani immigrants to Europe but the later generations are learning to live with reality in the wake of high living costs and opting for smaller families.
5) There is no consensus of Islamic faith the Pakistanis follow. They brought with them the basic conceptual disagreements from their villages which are deepend because they brought the village clerics also.
6) The tendency of marrying within own circle is a legacy of agrirarian society, which will surely become obsolete, but slowly.
With all these above mentioned points there seems no possibility of "Pakstanization" of Europe.
He claimed that Hindu girls are being forced to convert to Islam in Sindh.
This guy may be mad, but he speaks truth. How many Pakistanis will deny this? This is a sad truth...
@Namabar...you wrote a lot of stuff that didn't make sense w.r.t my comments.
I never said that this guy should not get punishment. In fact, I called him a terrorist.
You say "I am sorry to say so don’t try to sing our name into it or we will do the same and we have more motive to prove your state terrorism in Kashmir and elsewhere."
I thought that's what you were doing for the last 60 years (and failed for lack of truth) - trying to internationalize kashmir and PROVE our state terrorism.
@Paras Vikmani: Your country is secular? Have you lived in West Europe? Do you know their fundamant values for humans? I tell you one basic difference between them and the mindset of your society. You have one terrorist Kasab sitting in jail. What is the hue and cry of the Indians? Hang him, kill him and so on! Now watch the reactions of the Europeans for this mass murderer of Norway. You will hardly find any human here wishing him death penalty. In these European societies death sentence is long long ago abolished in the minds of people and law. May Humanity prevail in the hearts of all human beings.
Great. Pakistan has to be a part of every breaking news. Its time the World should address the root cause of all this insanity. The Sub Contractors of these Crusades should have made enough money by now. They should stop expanding their War Theaters based on brazen lies.
@Iftikhar-ur-Rehman: Very Well said. Any cracker that goes off in the world is because of "Islamic Extremism", or "Muslim Fundamentalism". The Sub-Contractors/Mercenaries of the so called 'war on terror', are minting money with their crusades. In their greed they have fooled the world, especially the Gullible populations of the west.
@ashok sai: Because Pakistan is the only country which was born on the roots of Islam like Israel which was came into being on the roots of Judaism. And no non-Muslim country in the world wants to see Pakistan prosperous and take control of Islamic states.
hahahahahahahahahah just cookoo thats all he need some good neurologist.
@Iftikhar-ur-Rehman: HE would have been described as a Christian fundamentalist if school books in Norway glorified Crusades the way jehad is glorified in the school books of many Islamic countries including Pakistan. If churches in Norway preached hatred against non-Christians and said that killing non-Christians would land them in heaven. He would have been described as a Christian extremist if he had himself claimed that his actions were done in support of the Bible or to be a good Christian. Many suicide bombers who are arrested prior to the act as well as other terrorists claim that their actions were motivated by the need to serve their religion. Their religious leaders and schools glorify jehad. Do you see the difference?
Hate begets hate. Whatever hate and mistreatment minorities have suffered in Pakistan has brought out a reaction albeit it too severe.
@Khalid Masood: It is nice to see your optimism about Pakistan. It would be interesting to see how and whether Pakistan would continue to retain its geographical integrity. All the best my friend.
Pakistan has become a superficial thing especially for non-Muslims, it is natural and the world will change as the time passes. Forceful conversion to Islam is prohibited in Islam, no doubt about it. But Hina Jilani like people must also know that conversion from other religion to Islam is allowed by Allah and all prophets but conversion from Islam to any other religion is not allowed by Allah and prophets. Islam is the only Deen in this universe while others are only Mazhub. And there is difference between Deen and Mazhub.
already had that discussion with sarazin in germany....
someone who has killed 90 people isnt even worthy enough to be heard of lay away read.
one end or another what ever happen in the world Pakistan in directly or indirectly connected with it .
From where did tribune get this information? No other media outlet published this story not even identifying his close muslims pakistani fraaand
To be the truth if I were Norwegian I would not Pakistanis in my country. People like to live with there own kind. Just look at us. Most Sindhis don't like Pashtuns or Punjabis. We speak with the same prejudices that whites do. Most of my friends do not see the human being in Pashtuns, they just think of them as criminals or drug dealers.
Breivik's actions are a victory for taliban-wannabes and jihadi apologists who will now attempt to pretend that terrorism is divided symmetrically on both sides of the divide.
"So what if jihadis flew jets into the twin towers, organized attacks across Europe, ripped Pakistan to shreds, brought untold misery to Afghanis, Saudi, Iranians and so many more globally? The West has Breivik, so it all balances out!"
@narayana murthy: "His points are valid". For people like you anything which is against Pakistan is true. Go to your call centre.
Though there is no explanation for the cold blooded murders he has committed...i hate to admit that this deranged man has a point. Anyone who has been to Europe will know just how secluded the Pakistani community is from the rest of the population. They hate mixing with the people from the host country.
I blame it on the immigrants that left Pakistan in the 60's and 70's and have since never come back. They try to hold on to the values and traditions of Pakistan back then without realising that Pakistan too has evolved over the years. The Pakistanis of Pakistan are more 'westernized' than the Pakistanis of Europe!
Dont get me wrong, obviously totally against what this man stood for and his actions, but I think this hatred towards Muslims and Pakistanis in general will only grow in the future. Its a growing trend..Get Wilders of Holland and his growing number of followers is a good example. We, (Pakistanis) who live abroad need to realise that this is our HOST country....we need to respect their traditions while maintaining our own. We are not in this world to convert each and every person to become a Muslim like ourselves! Live and let live. Embrace other religions, cultures and traditions...while maintaining your own. It's possible..i promise
@Aamir: Your false statements such as: "Why Europe forget massacre of Muslims in Bosnia and Serbia?", only appeal to people like you. The truth is that the Europeans and Americans ensured the perpetrators such as Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić, were arrested and brought to justice.
@antony: Well, they simply don't use the word "Terrorist" for this person... they call it a Right Wing Extremist..... Because they like the word "Terrorist" only for Muslims.
It is highly disturbing to note that the world really hates Pakistan, muslims and non muslims alike. Atleast now our Policy makers need to think hard where we gone wrong. Do something- for God's sake.
It appears that we are achiving the security goal of "stragtegic death".
@Riaz Haq: We read about Hitler....and about Islam...etc. We go to the source and read the texts so that we can have an informed opinion about them. You guys just lap up what your mullahs tell you
I am against the sangh parivar but only the blind fundamentalist can call them Nazi loving.
Thats sickness and the extreme art of throwing dirt at what you do wrong. It was hight of ignorance and its how the european media trains their viewers. It happeend against jews earlier then the soviets and now against us.
The question is how sick can the World media go in malligning us and how we defend ourselves
ok so he become a terrorist because of us ....
The word "Pakistanisation" appears like "Militantization" & appears like a sinful word. Can you please change the headline?
@ashok sai: Ashok it is an extremely irresponsible comment...but what can we say accept for grow up?...
@Salman Siddiqui: If you have courage, post my comment on your ridiculous article. I have read about this on BBC on this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/urdu/world/2011/07/110724breivikmanifesto_tk.shtml. Can tell me, who do want to please by Pakistan bashing. Why are you taking things out of context. By this article, you are receiving a great deal of applause from Indians, which I have seen in the comments on your great thoughts and I think you will be jumping with joy. Can you tell me the number of Mundirs and Gurdwaras in Europe? Why these are there, may be as sign of mixing up with locals? Why a Sikh protested outside Ovel Cricket Ground yesterday? Why don't you label him a Pakistani for not mixing up into the local community? Why there are China Towns in all almost all big metropolitins of around the world? This also because of Pakistan? I think you should mend your ways of getting cheap publicity...and hurting Pakistani all over the world by linking them in a such way with evils everywhere in world...I hope you will not blame Pakistani for your great thoughts as well...
As much as I denounce what Andres did. As much as I hate his analogies for drawing in people who never induced killings of innocent. As much as I abhor his notion of taking some one's freedom of speech to be a hate monger. It is as much as I hate this piece of writing. Had this been a mere report I would have applauded the reporter for giving accurate facts in the best possible manner. On the other hand, when we talk about opinion, we actually mean a rationale and not just plain facts. Kindly Mr. Writer take this advice into consideration!!
First being called a Paki was racist slur. Now a new word Pakistanization. What does it mean? Islamic or islamic terror ? i think the latter.
@ashok sai: This is not the time to point fingers or map out terrorism. We also need to set our house in order where different separatist regimes are on the rise. we need to know that we need to fight terror as a whole and its not just about a community. we have had blasts in mumbai. was that done by Pakistani. We shall go for friendship. I hope that insane Andres gets punished.
@R S JOHAR: I think Bal Thakuray must not be ignored on this occaision...although he has celebrated this kind of victory more than a decade ago in Ayodia and Modi will be really upest with youm for not being mentioned here, for his great victory in Gujrat... According to your great, Rahul Gandhi considers Hindu extremism as a greatest threat to India, this is only under the influence of Pakistan and Zaid Hamid....
I was really amazed to know if there was no Pakistani connected in Norway incidents. But thanks to Media they have somehow found the way to advertise this issue by linking the hate of the culprit towards Pakistan. I think the word "Pakistan" is media sensation in west and it sells.
There is no doubt about the instability of his mental state but My fears are Not his exaggerations, neither his Doomsday theories nor the Hypocrisy of the actions of this Conspiracy theorist ... What scared me the most was my familiarity and similarity to such outrageous Nonsense being aired on Microphones in a JUI or any other such fundamentalist gathering only Difference being in place of "Pakistanisation of West" they call it Americanization of Pakistan. Our people had been doing it to score a political point and we have been suffering from the same end results Suicide bombing. That was optimistically foolish of me never to expect the same from west. There goes that bubble. Its time for us to learn that our negativity and disregard for respect for Human and social rights (that are the base of Islamic way of life) are bound to reflect back on Us.
America, now Europe, India and even China, all scared of Islamic terrorism especially emanating from Pakistan. What a reputation !
@Patriotic Pakistani: shame for the world media always muttering islamic terrorism. what about this Norveigen man killing his own countrymen ... isn,t is terrorism. Furthermore the excuse for such a mass killing in the history of the world is Pakistan. no buddy this is not fair try something different at least for this matter.......
94% terror attacks on US are by Non-Muslims according to FBI. It is the hatefulness in the society against Muslims is what causing all the terrorism. Consult http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ld2KCFAsmk
@Aristo: Why are you twisting facts..and why did you exclude Afghansitan from your wise comment....this reflects your hatred towards Paksitan...
"Clash of Civilizations" is at hand. The sooner it happens, the sooner we will get to some peace after that!
@antony: He also mentioned about his Serb mentor, which I think you did not read or did want to...in your hate towards Pakistan...Your opinion of labelling every Pakistani as a terrorsit are none-the-less Nazi..
The problem with terrorists is, they just take lives for their PERCEIVED threats or benefits. In case of Anders Behring Breivik, he took so many lives in 2011 to ;ensure European Independence' in 2083.
Now lets hope this Norwegian terrorist starts reading the Koran in jail & converts his ideas about Islam.
the ultimate "Clash of Civilizations" begins ....brace yourselves people!
Oh!! do they really hate us?? Who cares... Proud to be a Muslim & Pakistani!!
This is one and the same with terrorists claiming Islam as their motivation. While not condoning his actions, I wonder how Muslims view their way of living being the cause of such intolerance that it results in indiscriminate and poorly justified mass murder. The only thing different than what they did is that you're not hearing the masses celebrating the incident, unlike in Pakistan and its surroundings. I might get hostile responses to that but, it doesn't make it any less true. It's not only a cause for Pakistan to check out the mirror but to check it out while knowing that they still have the one addition of receiving support in the action to still make it worse than what he did.
The entire article was laughable in an ironic way. Anybody who takes this sick person's views seriously must be very stupid and equally deranged. But I also question the authenticity of this article, because apart from Pakistani and Indian news media, I have so far been unable to find any news of the discovery of said document.
he is a christian taliban....
Pakistan is somehow connected to every bad act in world! WoWoW!
He is got legitimate fear about terrorism. But its just unlucky that Pakistan gets "All" that credit. A good political solution in favor of innocent people in the world must come.
Well...this is not a terrorist act???? hahahhahahahah.....All r jst trying to encircle Pakistan...bt we r also trying to awake our nation...then there will b no conflict like that...then there will b stronger and Islamic Pakistan....Fortress od Islam....we have to make our faith more strong on ALLAH......This all prpoganda is due to zionism mind game....bt we only beg to ALLAH...ALLAH AKBAR.
@Khalid Masood: I choked.
Pakistan is a very responsible state .................... BECAUSE any thing going wrong in any part of the world due to any reason ................... Pakistan is held responsible
@John: ...... i believe Hitler was also inspired by Pakistanis to become the greatest Christian terrorist and mass murderer ever witness by the history ...... I think Pakistanis used their influence to initiate World War I ...... I think even Alexander the great had known the location of Pakistan thats why he touched our soil ( may be to pay his respects :D ) and went back
This is a real low point and we owe it all to our establishment and leaders. Shame on them
But I guess as a people we get the leaders we deserve
Zaid Hamid should hoist the Pakistan flag in Oslo the Norway's capital since Pakistanisation of Europe has begun from this country.
What a bad luck we Pakistanis have :(
I mean it's our fault that some psycho in his hatred for our country killed his own countrymen?
Thanks to the world for maligning our name and hating us.
sorry I meant the beghairat brigade owes us some explanation.
Why Europe forget massacre of Muslims in Bosnia and Serbia??? Why only Islam and Pakistan is projected as violent?? this seems a bigger plot..
If islam was really about forced conversion all of India and most of Europe would be muslim. Ironically no one would have talked about forced conversion then.
I think our ghairat brigade owes us some explanation - bigots seem to be their biggest fans
“When the veil of multiculturalism disappears, it will be Pakistanis who live in London, Turks who live in Berlin, Algerians who live in Paris and Moroccans who live in Amsterdam. And then the show begins,” >>> Can't wait for that to happen ! =D
Shamy
Because Pakistan is an obstacle in America's geo-political goals. Brace yourself because It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. How are you enjoying Pakistan's reward for 50 years of obedient service?
Well to tell you the truth......Had I been a Norwegian who has witnessed hordes of Pakistanis landing on the coast after manipulating the asylum indemnity clauses and posting paper-marriages and staying there for generations and after all what is happening in Pakistan....its definitely gonna give me goose bumps all over.
Thirty two thousand Pakistanis including their locally born children make up less than 1% of the total Norwegian population.
Oslo is the fastest developing city in EU. Migrants continue to arrive from 50 countries including Western & Eastern Europe, USA and Canada. Muslims from 9 Islamic countries constitute little over 1 percent (1.35% to be precise) of the total Norwegian population.
I don't see what the threat is. Terms like 'several mini Pakistans' and ‘Pakistanisation of Europe’ seem to be scare tactics and plots by the enemies of Pakistan and Muslims at large. Another dubious plot....
I think his fears are genuine. HOWEVER, (extreme emphasis) what he did can never be justified. His concerns about Europe turning into conglomeration of several 'mini-Pakistans' is not entirely baseless. He said what he thought with reasons. It is true that Pakistanis reside in huge numbers in Europe, It is also true that Pakistanis despise the European culture, yet they are not willing to leave Europe. Classic hypocrisy by the way. Unless they accept their host culture by being tolerant and moderate, Physically-in-21st-century-Europe-mentallly-in-7th-century-Arabian-Peninsula Pakistanis will continue to alienate their hosts (segments of). Although it is unlikely that a huge government supported clean-up against Pakistanis will be initiated, but incidents like this one can occur again. A fascist organization may even come into being, but what do we expect when Pakistanis from Pakistan go to west, live their, and call their hosts infidels on their land, start protests, and then start movements and campaigns for making their host European democracies twisted and intolerant caliphates? The Oslo attacker should be punished, and will be punished by whatever their law says, but I think his concerns will now be looked upon very carefully, his legitimate concerns.
Now, it's high time that liberals in Islam come out in open and do something to save the religion. Today, no one, even Muslims, are reluctant to identify themselves as Muslims, whenever they go out. Few bad people have completely damaged the reputation of Islam as a religion and, I, solely blame Islamic liberals for this. How can they allow some terrorists to defame Islam? Why do they not come out and counter those who are giving a bad name to an otherwise, great religion? Why do they not come out and oppose LeT, AQ, Sipah-e-saheba, and Tanzims like these? Are they afraid that they would be targeted and killed? It is better to die than to face this humility. I reiterate my view that Civil society in Pakistan must openly come our and put pressure on Govt. and Army. Otherwise, they will themselves be responsible for putting last nails on Pakistan's coffin. Raza Rumi, in reply to my tweet, said that civil society in Pakistan is robust and kicking. But I can't see it anywhere. The civil society will soon be discussing factors behind cessation of Pakistan, if they do not react today. Some fundamentalists will not like my words here, I know, but i, as a true Hindu, I really want Islam to to shine. Religion guides us through difficult times and helps in finding and assessing ourselves. So, all religion, Islam in particular, must regain its glory and Pakistan can really show the way. What Brevik has done is just the inclination of things to come.
Looks like this guy got too clautrophobic at the thought of being surrounded by Muslims; this killing gave him some sort of perverse relief. Nevertheless, many of the things he dreads claim merit. A Pakistan 2 is in the making in India, as Pakistan turns into a violent muslim backyard. The time is not far off when hordes of these animals start attacking India as they have done for ages.
India is still a secular state because it accepted people of all religion and culture in its fold. But Europe is intolerant towards Muslims. Sometimes I feel they are justified but you cannot go on a killing spree like this.
his fears are genuine and understandable, but it hardly matters in this case. what he did was act of terrorism. if Europe has given us modern liberal values it has also produced such horrible things as oppressive Christian church rule followed by colonialism, fascism and racism. for more than six decades liberal values have prevailed in western world. I hope the islamofacism and Arab supremacism doesn't wake up the beasts of white supremacism and Christian fundamentalism. then we might see the ugly fight of two beasts. if Europe has given us modern liberal values it has also produced such horrible things as oppressive Christian church rule followed by colonialism, fascism and racism. for more than six decades liberal values have prevailed in western world. I hope the islamofacism and Arab supremacism doesn't wake up the beasts of white supremacism and Christian fundamentalism. then we might see the ugly fight of two beasts.
I wouldn't comment about the quotes.. but everyone knows or should know how propaganda based is the history we are taught in schools. Sadly the bit about muslims assimilating into Europe or muslim viewing european women as whores is not very far from the truth. Muslims in Europe have the wrong idea that assimilating means drinking or going to parties all the time, all it needs is being able to communicate (learning the language) and respecting europeans like you would or should respect every other human being....too much for a lot of people... None of this though gives anyone the right (muslim or not) to go start killing people. R.I.P to all the victims of these attacks.
How is that when ever we Pakistanis get blamed it is always a conspiracy against us and never our fault
The killer really needed an excuse to justify his action and since Pakistan and Islam are already being ridiculed around the world. He decided to use their degradation to his benefit. Why commit a crime if you are afraid to accpet the complete blame. One more thing that adds to my confusion is that if he hated Pakistanis and muslims so much why go killing innocent people ( mostly teenagers ) who were not muslims or Pakistanis. It doesent add up to the reason he gave.
How is he different from the terrorists in pakistan? To protect Pakistan from the evil USA/Israel/India, the terrorists are killing other innocent muslims in Pakistan.
This guy killed, mostly white christians to save christians from Muslims.
However, his points are very valid. His method is completely wrong.
I live in the UK...and im hoping this news doesnt come on BBC ...y r they screwing us ?
After reading about Anders Behring Breivik I feel sorry for him. He had a spoiled childhood, deprived of the love of his parents particularly father. He was raised as a european christian and thought the euorpean culture around him was the true christianity. his writings manisfest that he was upset why european women are available to everybody while on the contrary muslim ladies are not reachable even to the muslim men. This is only due to negligence of religions specially the christianity, Islam, Judism etc. All these religions teach modesty of women and peace in world but unfortunately in this modern age most people of the world are unaware of these teachings. why??? we know the reasons very well.
Just yesterday i thought that pakistan has lost its sphere of influence.. I changed my opinion now...
By the way why this news only seems to be on tribune?
Something is reaallllyyyyyyyyy fishy........
I am not sure why do we jump the gun !
Please go through this, a more unbiased analysis of the document in discussion.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14267007
The guy was deranged and if we have scooped so low that even a deranged person can have us convinced against ourselves, we need to start getting some education.
Muslims, if not Pakistan have contributed immensely to the overall civility of the world. Its about time we stop abandoning our dignity, accept our wrongdoings and defend baseless allegations against us.
Racial profiling by governments responding to the fears of their people does not seem far away.
Alright! so now even Freemasons are using our shoulders for their own reasons. They have been doing terrorism for so many years and now they are saying that this is all because of Pakistan... Well suits them!
Historically European scholarship and society had anti-Islamic feelings after crusades. which descended 20th century. this event is outcast of anti-Islamic group, which is widely not acceptable in European multicultural democratic societies. But after 9/11 muslin fanaticism once again came in European intelligentsia and society through media's negative projection. Militant view of Islam presented by global jihadis is not backed by majority of Islamic scholars and Muslims, it has sole political dimension than religious. We should not accept these false perceptions about Islam and any other ideology.
@Patriotic Pakistani: There is no need of mention ... 98% Pakistan do not flee their country or have desire for Australian, Canadian, US immigration like other 2%
Pakistanisation is a nice word. Summarises everything in one word where sentences fail.
Do not blame Pakistan for the global terrorism. This mess was created by the Imperial Powers in the name of global resistance against progressive forces during the Cold War Years. Pakistan and many other nations were used through its armed forces. Pakistani masses have nothing to do with terrorism and religioud fundendamentalism. Generally people in Pakistan are tolerant and peaceful.
Norwegian terrorist learnt this destruction from those who brought wars on innocent Muslims and today Muslims are the main targets for hated and destructions by the Western Imperial Powers.
"Pakistanization"..huh..as if Pakistan is an Islamic country...
His views are sound, his fear are not - and his anger was seriously misdirected.
What ever are his fears and however justified or unjustified they may be.. how does killing innocents help ?
If he fears " Paksiantanisation' as he puts it , his acts are akin to terrorists themselves .
What has he achieved?
There is more to it that meets the eye.
Just when people of Pakistan were beginning to clear their name from the misjudgement appearing by the term "Islamization of Europe" ..... here comes the new one more specific , more direct and more powerful "pakistanization of europe" ... i hope this term doesnt become gets added to the dictionary as WIkileaks and Google have ... !!
What an idiot this guy is? Bringing murder to his fellowmen in a haven of peace.
'Pakistanisation' a word coming from a country that has nothing or little to do with Pakistan. This Country is certainly going places.
Hats-off to Express Tribune and the Western media. So much respect paid to a mass-murderer's words. If he would have been a muslim he must have been labelled Extremist but since he is not lets call him OSLO ATTACKER lolz.
2ndly, Do you pay such heed to the words that are being said against the US & NATO oppression in the tribal areas of Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya? Such media houses are confederate to the neo-colonialism by US and Europe over the muslim lands.
(A couplet for the fears of Oslo Attacker)
Urooj-e-Adam-e-khaaki se anjum sahmay jaatay hen Ke ye toota hua taara Mah-e-Kaamil na banjaye

Real liberals with intellectual and moral substance, yes. These Pakistani liberal emotional cripples unable to confront harsh reality and who begin self-flagellating at the slightest provocation, no. This maniac used the articles of Pakistani liberals to justify his mad hatred of Muslims. The Pakistani liberals will have this massacre on their consciences forever.
Devil can cite scripture for his own purpose!
Even Moammar Gaddhafi warned its own people that if they would rebel, Libya will turn into another Pakistan. Moammmar Gaddhafi is a Muslim, hence both Muslims and non-Muslims think alike about Pakistan but the hyper-nationalists denialistanis will never realize there is any thing wrong with Pak.
Oh man I just can not digest this. I mean how can this craziness whereby he killed his own Norwegian will prevent Europe from Pakistanisation? If he had so much concern abt Pakistani's immigrants he should hav targted them and not his own people. Another strange anti Pakistan story through media for sure.
Why and how does Pakistan get dragged in to everything? It's popularity is undiminished. :)
@Frank: so would you rather not have liberals in Pak soil???
I dont know why he felt too much bad for muslims , many of them are very hardworking who are settled in europe, those who are getting benefits in form of asylum , are a resultant of 9/11 . You will see hundreds of afghani people in europe who are having benefits , but the root cause is something else. Other muslims , they are also giving a support to their economy , if they are living their. This guy has totally bad views and his act of killing innocent people is totally unjustified.
Keep creating hatred (muslims and non-muslims alike) and you'll get face to face with the monsters that hide within us
Wow... no words.
OMG!..Really Pakistan...? I think we were far away from this thing..but no...the killer himself has dragged us in this!
The word is xenophobic. But it may have multiple shades. The only thing to prevent this is forcing all countries to accept the secularism. All regions are equal and religion is personal thing. Spread democracy and education through out the world. Only then this sort of conflict will end.
While some of his words may be true and others rather badly understood, does that give him a chance to kill ~100 young Norwegians? Or anyone, for that matter? The tragedy that Norway has faced is immense in a small country where little or no violence takes place. We face this a few times a day when it comes to 'minorities' (or even 'majorities', as in the case of women). We need to change our ways, understand and respect 'tolerance' (if the absence is what's causing this).
though whatever his believe is not wrong to some extent i.e his views about pakistani society and the muslim immigrants failure to blend with european society, but its totally wrong to kill hundreds of your fellow countrymen to justify your views.what did he achieved?
Finally Pakistan gets its deserved recognition globally for its efforts over the last 20 years !!! Oxford dictionary should include "Pakistanisation" as a legitimate word in its next edition.
This is extremely Shocking! shows us how the world has started to hate us! even the muslim countries such as Kuwait want to keep their distance from us! Soon we will be totally isolated from the world...and die a horrible torturous death!
Is this what we envisioned when created this state? Probably not, but the politicians and the generals have definitely achieved everything they envisioned!
As a Muslim living in West,I do agree with some of his arguments. But how does that justify another terrorist act?? Too much of brain washing made him lose his mind and what he has done will only embolden Muslim terrorists as they would have a reason to retort..ha.. Another some liberals would point out how terrorism is not just a Muslim dominated phenomenon..well ninety percent are!!! A large part of Muslims in west have miserably failed to integrate to the host country and they almost consider it their right to be on welfare, ogle at non-Muslim women and force their religious views on everybody. It is allright/normal if you do not share the same cultural values as others but it is also important to have some gratitude to free, democratic countries which have given us an opportunity to fulfil our dreams, have a good career etc. Why not come back to the country of origin if we fail to integrate to the country which accepts us?? namak bhi khao, namak harami bhi karo.
I was little surprised when norwegian was found to be a terrorist and no pakistani connection...Now I see there is .Someway pakistan is famous for!!!
From this point of view its clear that muslims are creating hatred against muslims themselves
It appears that the white supremacist terrorist Brevik shared the thinking of Nazi-loving Hindu Nationalists like Golwalkar and his Sangh Parivar buddies in power in many Indian states today.
Nazi memorabilia, including Adolf Hitler's biography Mein Kampf, are growing in popularity in India, according to the BBC. The marketing chief of Crossword, a national chain of book stores in India, told the BBC that Mein Kampf has "been a consistent bestseller for us."
At Mumbai bookstores located in upscale neighborhoods, the Hitler book sales have risen sharply from 40-50 copies a year to several hundred copies annually in each store. It's not just the autobiography - books on the Nazi leader, T-shirts, bags, bandanas and key-rings are also in demand. A shop in Pune, called Teens, says it sells nearly 100 T-shirts a month with Hitler's image on them.
http://www.riazhaq.com/2010/06/hindu-nationalists-admire-nazis-and.html
What a Fool
So some right wing extremist is upset that Arabs in France, Turks in Germany or Pakistanis in the UK are not assimilating well into European society, are doing low income labour jobs or collecting social assistance / khayrat. Does that justify killing innocent Norwegian civilians? Certainly not. Yes there are problems with Muslim immigrants all over Europe but if they don;t want to see Europe become some dysfunctional Arab state, or worry about the Lebanonization or Pakistanization of Norway, they should work within the system to stop the flow of asylum seekers to European nations through peaceful means and lobbying.
The seed planted by Pakistani liberals is now beginning to beat fruit.
We cant stay out of anywhere can we :P
This guy does have valid points that most of the world already speak of including recently the german chancellor.
After reading some of the pages of this Oslo killer that it is a clear that Breivik is a CHRISTIAN FUNAMENTALIST or a CHRISTIAN TERRORIST. It is understandable that Western Media will not call him a Christian Terrorist but why is our media scared of calling a spade a spade?
Funny how pakistan is somehow linked to all global forms to terrorism.
The forced conversion bit is true.
One wonders how much of the history this man quotes is correct, seeing as how what we're taught in schools is a highly propaganda-charged, positive-spin version of events.
I find it ironic that this antimulticulturalist did this in Norway. After all a Muslim from Iraq played a critical role in providing all these Norwegians their nice social benefits. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/99680a04-92a0-11de-b63b-00144feabdc0.html The Iraqi who saved Norway from oil
The CAT is out of the BAG................
Anders Behring Breivik is either misled, hoodwinked or hired by RAW or similar agency in order to malign, degrade and disgrace Pakistan.
Pakistan is a great country and will remain on the map of this globe till end of the world..... Insha Allah.
But who's the terrorist here?
I believe that this is the end of peaceful Europe.
You people never felt this unless it happened to you. We Pakistanis suffer daily from such incidents but seldom utter a word, but still the world thinks we are among terrorists; that's sickening...
I don't think any newsmedia in the west has referred to this Norwegian citizen as a terrorist. Even the British prime minister referred to his actions as an "outrage" rather than an act of terrorism. Makes you sick, dunnit?
I have a gut feeling that his 1500- page manifesto is going to be a best-seller.
When we map international terrorism across the globe, all the lines will intersect at Pakistan.
Oh great, now Pakistan is some how connected to the insane actions of a frustrated sick Norwegian citizen.
