Kareena Kapoor made a powerful sartorial statement in Decmeber 2019 when she shared a picture slaying a blue power suit on Instagram.

And while the Bollywood actor initially received a lot of positive feedback for her outfit, fans are now noticing something 'fishy' in terms of the brand, reported India Today.

Kapoor's monotone ensemble came from the house of designer  Raghavendra Rathore and Bebo pulled it off pretty well.

However, it turns out that the outfit worn by the Good Newwz star is actually rip-off of a creation by the international luxury label Hugo Boss. An infamous Instagram page, known to call out plagiarism in the world of fashion, recently brought this case to the limelight.

According to the post, Hugo Boss showcased the original design in 2015, and the one worn by Kapoor is actually a copied version of the same.

If you have a closer look at the two outfits, you will hardly be able to find any evident differences. Right from the silhouette to the cuts and the placement of buttons, the similarities are quite evident. However, the one by Raghavendra Rathore came with ornate buttons and an additional brooch.

Instagram then sparked a division on the internet, and people were quick to express their thoughts in the comments sections. Many users called out the designer Raghavendra Rathore for blatantly copying Hugo's design.

Some people even trolled Kapoor for wearing a rip-off. However, some were of the opinion that the outfit looked better on her.

"Bebo what is this behaviour," one user mused. "The quality of the construction, fabric, trims, etc, were all brought down a few notches," another criticised.

Others were quick to defend the star. One user wrote, "For the firs time I find the copied one better than the original," while another said, "Kareena is looking good."
