LAHORE: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has changed the allotment of dozens of plots in Phase VIII, sources said. Documents available to The Express Tribune show that the plots were allotted two years ago. The original allotees may stand to lose Rs2 million to Rs3 million in each case. According to the documents, the allotment was done in 2009. The DHA administration recently sent letters to some allotees, including some overseas Pakistanis that the location of their plots had changed. The administration, however, did not mention any reason for the change. Sources said that the allotees have voiced their concerns in letters, emails and phone calls. But the DHA has not responded to them. The DHA administration has, however, refused to comment on the issue.
