Stray dogs kill student near Sargodha

Parents find the minor after coming to know of about his absence from school

SARGODHA: A third-grade student bitten by stray dogs near Sargodha died in a hospital on Saturday.

Stray dogs attacked 13-year-old Saim Ali, son of Khalid Parhar, a resident of Rutokala, when he was on his way to the Government Primary School in the morning.

The dogs badly injured the head and face of the minor. After coming to know of about Ali’s absence from the school, his parents started searching for him and found him in critical condition in the fields.

Ali was taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital in critical condition but died due to injuries. Upon receiving information about the incident, Bheera police reached the site and handed over the body to the family after completing legal formalities.

The child’s parents said that Ali used to go to school with his sisters. Today he went to school alone due to bad weather and he was attacked by stray dogs.
