Schedule for admissions in private medical colleges announced

The new schedule has been issued in light of the recent decisions taken by IHC and PHC

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced new schedule for placement interviews against admissions in the private sector medical and dental colleges of the province.

The new schedule has been issued in light of the recent decisions taken by the Islamabad High Court and Peshawar High Court in two different cases of same nature.

The KMU directorate of admission said in a statement that the placement interviews of all the relevant candidates with serial numbers from 422 to 1,200 of the combined merit list should attend the placement interviews on February 28 while serial numbers from 1,201 to 1,820 February 29.

The statement said candidates with serial numbers from 1,821 to 2,621 have been asked to appear before the placement committee on March this year at the KMU multi purposes hall in Hayatabad, phase-iv.

The statement further stated that candidates who were unable to appear in the placement interview on the respective dates will not be considered eligible for admission. Since no candidate will be informed individually by any means, therefore all the interested candidates were directed to visit the official admission website of KMU for further guidance and instructions regarding admissions as well as interviews process, however, the number of seats may vary in light of the court decisions if any.
