NCHD employees vow to continue protest

The closure of NCHD will affect 16,000 employees and their families in 144 districts.

ISLAMABAD:


Hundreds of employees of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) on Saturday vowed to continue their protest till an assurance by the government for protection of their jobs is guaranteed.


The employees have continued their protest in front of Parliament for the last one month. The closure of NCHD will affect 16,000 employees and their families in 144 districts. The employees said that the provinces should adopt NCHD fully and if they show reluctance, the matter should be resolved by the federal government.
