After reported discussions, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced they will no longer use the name 'Sussex Royal' in their branding that many recognise as their Instagram handle.

According to Royal reporter and expert Omid Scobie, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not name their non-profit 'Sussex Royal Foundation,' and do not intend to use 'Sussex Royal' in any way after the spring of this year, reported InStyle.

Since their Instagram handle is Sussex Royal, it's also unclear if they'll be keeping that handle moving forward.

Last month, it was reported they would no longer use their His/Her Royal Highness titles, though they are still the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The decisions have been made in accordance with their step back as senior members of the Royal family in January.

Earlier this week, the duo announced that March 31 would be the date on which they officially cease Royal duties and begin the process of becoming financially independent and create a new life for themselves with baby Archie.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry spotted on their first appearance since Royal exit

Meghan and Harry made headlines worldwide after their shocking Royal exit announcement, writing at the time via Instagram that they would "work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."

They have since been spotted in Miami and reportedly wish to settle for a 'quieter' life in Canada.
