These views were expressed by Cultural Attaché Lisa Swenarski and Public Affairs Counselor of the US Embassy in Islamabad Julia Fendrick.
They disclosed that progress has been made on a formal agreement between Washington and Islamabad on exchanging cultural heritage and food.
The US embassy in Islamabad has completed 22 projects in connection with the conservation of heritage while another three projects are underway.
National History and Literary Heritage (NHLH) Division Federal Secretary Inaamullah Khan said that the division will cooperate in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage in Pakistan.
He said that steps will be taken to expedite the implementation of the projects under the contract.
