Commissioner vows to restore beauty of Quetta

Commissioner chairs meeting to review traffic, cleanliness and encroachment issues pestering the citizens of Quetta.

QUETTA: Commissioner of Quetta Usman Ali Khan has said all resources are being utilised to restore the beauty of the provincial capital, adding that strict action would be taken against illegal encroachments.

He shared these views while chairing a meeting held to review traffic, cleanliness and encroachment issues pestering the citizens of Quetta.

Deputy Commissioner Quetta Major (retd) Aurangzaib Badini, Quetta Administrator Tariq Javed Mengal, Secretary RTA Miran Baloch, Secretary QDA Hashim Khan Kakar, SP Traffic Police and district officials attended the meeting.

The commissioner constituted a committee to revamp the parking and encroachment issues in the city and directed the panel to submit recommendations regarding expansions and U-turns that are being constructed on the roads.
