Police register case for harassing woman in Karachi

Suspects accused of sending inappropriate text messages which reportedly went viral on social media

KARACHI: Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police registered a case on Tuesday, pertaining to the alleged harassment of a woman at workplace.

According to Gulshan-e-Iqbal SHO Ghulam Nabi Afridi, police have registered the case against the suspects nominated by the woman, who works at a private company.

The woman has accused one of the suspects of sending inappropriate text messages which reportedly went viral on social media.

Meanwhile, the woman herself has been booked in a case for alleged vandalism and threatening.
