The Hazara Commissioner’s office will serve as the central complaint cell for all of Hazara Division to control the quality and rates of commodities during the month of Ramazan. This was announced by the Hazara Commissioner Khalid Khan Umerzai as he addressed lawyers in Haripur on Wednesday.
Umerzai said the civil administration would ensure provision of daily use items to consumers on fixed rates during the holy month.
He said a committee would be formed to deal with complaints over prices and quality of items in the market.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction over the performance of the revenue department, and held patwaris responsible for all disputes related to property. He urged lawyers to ensure justice is done in a timely manner.
