Nadra failed to rectify errors in computerised identity cards submitted for correction.

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has failed to rectify errors in computerised identity cards submitted for correction. Despite possessing the latest software and checking systems, applicants have complained that NADRA failed to make basic corrections, and a few identity cards have also been used by criminals for illegal activities.  A report was recently lodged with NADRA by a person stating he had deposited his CNIC with NADRA to change the photograph. He said he had later received a notice from a court that informed him that his original CNIC had been submitted to the police for traffic violation. NADRA officials, however, failed to take any action against the culprits.
