OGDCL selects 50 employees for hajj

He also drew the eighth Umrah Draw 2019-2020 to select 10 employees who will perform Umrah on OGDCL’S expenses

The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Managing Director Shahid Salim Khan drew the ballots for the 36th Hajj Draw 2019-2020 at OGDC: House in Islamabad on Thursday to select 50 employees of the company who will be sent to perform hajj.

He also drew the eighth Umrah Draw 2019-2020 to select 10 employees who will perform Umrah on OGDCL’S expenses.

The ceremony was held on Thursday at OGDCL House.

The MD congratulated the selected employees and stated that the employees will perform Hajj as representatives of Pakistan and hence will have to adhere to high moral standards and discipline.

He hoped that OGDCL will meet its operational targets and will strive to explore additional oil and gas reserves to meet the energy crisis in the country. He added that he was hopeful OGDCL would find new oil and gas reservoirs in the country.

Production Executive Director Dr Nasim Ahmed, Human Resources General Manager Malik Mohammed Afzal, Security General Manager Lt Col Tariq Hanif and all senior officers attended the ceremony.
