During his visit to the dialysis centre at District Headquarters Hospital, he said the PBM was utilising all available resources to help the needy. He announced allocation of funds for treatment of 25 children suffering from thalassemia and for a dialysis centre in Kot Addu.
He said that efforts would be made to increase to 65 the number of dialysis patients benefitting from the fund at Muzaffargarh DHQ Hospital. While talking to journalists, Bappi maintained that Prime Minister Imran Khan had the power to remove any minister from his post over violation of party policy. He said that there was no shortage of flour and sugar in the country.
The MD said the establishment of the South Punjab secretariat was expected at the Multan-Bahawalpur road before local body elections in 2021-22.
He said that there were some misunderstandings between the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and the government over administrative issues that had been resolved.
“At least 850,000 bags of 20kg flour were being provided across Punjab on a daily basis,” said Buppi. Speaking on the occasion, DC Tareen lauded the MD for providing funds to needy patients.
