CS, NAB DG discuss recovered properties

Besides, the government ensured merit in appointment of the officials on government posts.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Secretary Fazeel Asghar discussed handing over of recovered properties from corruption cases with provincial National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Farmanullah Kahn on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Other matters included recommendations of NAB’s prevention committees and posting of convicted officers on key posts were discussed during the meeting.

Lauding the efforts of the watchdog, the CS said corruption would be eliminated from the country with the help of NAB DG.

He added the provincial government backs the watchdog in taking effective steps to eliminate corruption. Besides, the government ensured merit in appointment of the officials on government posts.
