Talking to APP here on Thursday, he said maximum opportunities were being provided to students in professional technical training fields under Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan (National Youth Development Programme).
He said purpose of free of cost technical professional training was to enhance skills and capabilities of the youth to enable them to set up businesses and get jobs in industrial fields.
Baloch encouraged students to enroll themselves in training course of six months.
He urged parents and intellectuals to send their children to PSTC campuses for taking admission in technical courses to take advantage of the National Youth Development Programme to acquire jobs in different sectors throughout the country.
He said Prime Minister’s Kamayab Jawan programme was started across Pakistan, including in Balochistan province, to polish skills of youngsters so that they avail opportunities from China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the future.
Calling CPEC a mega initiative for the country and the province, Baloch said it would link state and Balochistan with the world, urging measures to provide professional technical training to youth for enhancing skills.
Baloch said quality education was important for development of the country and Balochistan, stressing that backwardness of the province could only be removed through better knowledge and technical education.
“Countries that focused on education are considered developed states,” he said.
“The PSTC is providing quality education to students across the country, including Balochistan and it is the only technical educational institution in the province,” he said.
