QUETTA: Central leader of Balochistan National Party Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani has called for a joint meeting of provincial assembly in view of the current law and order situation, holding the ‘wrong policies and decisions’ of the government responsible for the recent terror incidents in the province.

He was speaking to a delegation of journalists at Sarawan House in Quetta on Saturday.

Condemning the terrorist attacks, Raisani said demanding the arrest of the suspects involved in the attack from provincial government is equivalent to lying to the people of the province and the country.

He said the provincial government deserves pity as it lacks vision and has no powers to make decisions.

“The political parties and leadership should raise question as to why after spending billions of rupees on law and order terrorist incidents are still happening,” Raisani said.

He said whoever wants to condemn these attacks should instead criticise the wrong decisions and policies of those in power which resulted in the rise of terrorism.

Raisani demanded that in view of the current law and order situation, a joint meeting of parliament should be convened to review the policies which have resulted in huge losses to the people of the country and the province.
