Body found in nullah

Wound found on the man's chest during initial examination

KARACHI: A body was found stashed in a bag in a nullah near Tanki Stop, Surjani Town, on Saturday. Police arrived on the spot and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

According to SHO Iftekhar Qureshi, the deceased, said to be a man around 40 to 45 years old, was killed and thrown into the nullah by unidentified men.

He stated that a wound was found on the man's chest during initial examinations, adding that while they suspected he had been shot to death, the cause of death will be determined after further reports.

Police are trying to identify the body.
