RAWALPINDI: As part of the Clean and Green Punjab campaign, the communication teams of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC), in collaboration with Albaryak, on Thursday conducted an awareness session in the Fatima Jinnah University (FJWU) about the importance of cleanliness.

According to an RWMC spokesperson, the purpose of this activity was to educate students about the fundamental standards of cleanliness so that children could apply these standards in their lives to make their surroundings neat and clean.

The students were told about the dangers of environmental pollution, and its role in increasing diseases and spreading viruses.

On the occasion, waste bags and pamphlets were distributed among the students to highlight the importance of cleanliness.
