BAHAWALPUR:
The answer sheets of quality assurance tests for the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will now be checked through Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology. According to PEF officials, the new checking methods will help ensure complete transparency as well as fast and accurate data collection. Quality assurance tests are biannually held to examine the academic performance of 2,445 partner schools in 29 districts of the province. PEF has now outsourced the QATs to a third party to maintain transparency and credibility.
