SARGODHA: Cattle Market Management Company (CMMC) will set up a model cattle market with an estimated amount of Rs340 million in Khushab district. This was decided in a meeting presided over by Sargodha Commissioner Dr Farah Masood on Monday.

The commissioner directed the officers of the company for making a transparent and foolproof system of recovery of the company. “All sources of the cattle market will be given on contract and discourage personal receipts.”

CMMC MD Aftab Ahmad briefed that during the year 2018-19, the company had earned Rs13.5 million and it was initiated with a capital of Rs25 million under the company act in 2016.

The meeting was told that the company had taken over the responsibilities of 10 cattle markets out of the 15 markets set up in the division while steps are being taken to take over the charge of other cattle markets.
